  1. Understand a rational methodology to subtype depressions to facilitate better psychiatric treatment planning.
  2. Understand antidepressants relative to their neurotransmitter profile, subfamily grouping, predictable effects/side effects, and rational selection process for optimal clinical outcomes.
  3. Understanding the role of antidepressant augmentors and their pros and cons.
  4. Understand Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) relative to FDA indications, proposed mechanism of action, side effect profile, appropriate patient referral, insurance barriers, and be able to compare and contrast TMS to antidepressant medication use.
