Description: This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of women's mental health based on the most up-to-date research and statistics. It introduces practitioners to The Gender Health Gap and the importance of female biorhythm knowledge as it relates to mental health. The focus of this work is centered around how practitioners care for naturally menstruating women in practice and how practitioners care for themselves, personally, in a female dominated industry. Practitioners will be introduced to Female Psychoendocrinology, a new field of research that aims to close the Gender Health Gap and improve healthcare outcomes for women. Participants will learn how to effectively address the bio-individual concerns of naturally menstruating women, how this care impacts global outcomes, and ways that their own self-care as practicing clinicians contributes to the mental health ripple effect. Learning Objectives
