    Dear Members,

You are invited to participate in a research study titled Exploring the Relationship between Counselor Expertise and Self-Reported Military Cultural Competency among Mental Health Counselors: A Mixed Domain Approach, conducted by Maria G. Giuliana, a doctoral candidate at National Louis University, under the supervision of Dr. Martin Cortez Wesley.

    Purpose:
This study aims to evaluate how professional factors—such as education, licensure, supervision, and military affiliation—relate to military cultural competency among licensed mental health counselors.

    Participation:
You are invited to complete an anonymous online survey that will take approximately 15–20 minutes. Your input will contribute to understanding the training and experiences that support culturally competent care for military-affiliated clients.

    Eligibility Criteria:

Licensed mental health counselor (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
18 years of age or older
    Currently practicing in the U.S.
    Experience serving military-connected clients
Participation is voluntary, and all responses are anonymous.

Note: The link will take you to an informed consent form. You will be asked to review the study details and agree to participate before the survey begins. QR Code is also attached below.
